    Simulation of High Power Factor Single Phase Inverter For PV Solar Array

    Photovoltaic (PV) systems are solar energy supplySystems which either supply power directly to an electrical equipment or feed energy into the public electricity grid. It focuses on the latest development of modelling and control of grid connected photovoltaic energy conversion system. In the photovoltaic system, power electronic conversion is necessary to improve the efficiency of PV panels and system stability. In these systems, the backstage power circuit consists of a high step-up DC to DC converter and a full-bridge inverter to convert DC to AC, as the grid voltage is AC in nature. Modelling of photovoltaic systems include modelling of SPV array, power electronics inverter/converter based on MATLAB/SIMULINK. This present control algorithm of a three-phase and single phase grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system including the PV array and the electronic power conditioning (PCS) system, based on the MATLAB/Simulink software. It also discusses advances in MPP tracking technologies, the synchronization of the inverter and the connection to the grid

    Energy saving is one way to reduce energy USAge without decreasing the results. This way can be obtained byusing the hybrid air conditioning. Other than energy saving, the hybrid air conditioning also can reduce theeffects of global warming by condenser waste heat recovery. This research aims to investigate the effect ofvariations flow rate in water heater tank to the system temperatures of hybrid air conditioning using helical coiltype of dummy condenser with 1/4˝ diameter of copper pipe. Experimental method is used in this research. Thetest was conducted with several water flow rate variations (1/3, 2/3, and 3/3 valve openings) and using coolingload of 2000 Watt as residential cooling load simulation. The result showed that the water temperature in waterheater tank was changed in every water flow rate variations. The highest water temperature was obtained at39.77˚C for 0 valve opening (full-closed valve), but, the lowest water temperature was obtained at 32.57˚C in3/3 valve opening (full-open valve)

    Fabrication of nanocomposite membrane via combined electrospinning and casting technique for direct methanol fuel cell

    Emergence of nanotechnology has resulted in the introduction of the electrospinning process in fabricating and characterising the polymer electrolyte membrane from the sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) nanocomposite membrane comprised of electrospun Cloisite15A® (e-spun CL) for direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC). Poly (ether ether ketone) polymer is sulfonated up to 63% by sulfuric acid. SPEEK63/e-spun CL nanofibers were fabricated via electrospinning in which SPEEK63 was used as carrier polymer while the SPEEK63/e-spun CL nanocomposite membrane was obtained by the casting method. Characterizations on physical, morphological and thermal properties of SPEEK63/e-spun CL were conducted and compared to the SPEEK membrane fabricated by casting simple mixing 2.5wt.% Cloisite15A® and 5.0wt.% triaminopyrimidine solution (SPEEK63/2.5CL/5.0TAP). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed well electrospun Cloisite15A® with an average diameter nanofiber around 187.4 nm. Moreover, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) revealed that Cloisite15A® particles at a nanometer range were uniformly distributed and 66% smaller than those in SPEEK63/2.5CL/5.0TAP. Furthermore, x-ray diffraction proved that the dispersion state of Cloisite15A® fell into an intercalated phase. A very small amount of Cloisite15A® (0.05wt.%) in SPEEK63/e-spun CL successfully enhanced the proton conductivity up to 50%, whereas, unfortunately the methanol permeability value was 27 times higher than SPEEK63/2.5CL/5.0TAP. Proton conductivity and methanol permeability of SPEEK63/e-spun CL were 24.49 x 10-3 Scm-1 and 3.74 x 10-7 cms-1, respectively. Even though this study contributed to 95% selectivity lower than SPEEK63/2.5CL/5.0TAP, electrospinning showed a promising technique to further reduce original sized Cloisite15A® particles from mixed size (μm and nm) to nanometer sized. In addition, by fine tuning, the dispersion of Cloisite15A® enhances the SPEEK63/e-spun CL performance in DMFC

This research employed library research as its research methodology. specifically by undertaking a documented analysis of the literature around the subject under investigation. The study's findings were then examined by making deductions that were deemed pertinent to serve as the foundation for the study's findings. The findings of this study demonstrate that there is room for interpretation when it comes to whether Muslims may inherit property from non-Muslims because, in Yusuf Qardawi's view, Islam does not obstruct or reject the right route that advances the interests of the people. We will get DC power from solar panels and this converter inverts DC to AC. This design and modulation is based on MATLAB software. In circuit, for switching purpose IGBT is used. There are many other devices also but IGBT has more advantages than others which are shown by comparison with others. The main thing is that this conversion and switching of IGBT is done using different types of PWM methods. Here we are using SPWM method for conversion of AC power. This method is very efficient than other methods and also it reduces harmonics to very much extent in output. Project objective are, to design an inverter model by using MATLAB and making analysis on the output voltage and to study the function of PWM in single phase inverter. Project scopes are:1. Modeling and simulation using MATLAB. 2. Using PWM method for the switching operation.     The development of information technology and the internet is growing. This can be seen by the many places that provide internet facilities to obtain information. One of the uses of the internet in terms of information processing can be applied to the design of a website-based information system. Website-based information systems make it easy to disseminate information quickly and accurately. Based on the interviews conducted, the dissemination of information in Mulyosri Village still uses the manual method, thus making the agency's performance in providing information to the public less than optimal. To overcome this problem, a website-based information system was built to make it easier for the public to access information in Mulyosri Village. The development method used in this research is the waterfall method which consists of five steps of development, namely: (1) Requirement, (2) Design, (3) Implementation, (4) Verification, and (5) Maintenance. The system is made using the PHP programming language and uses a MySQL database. After the information system is complete, blackbox testing is carried out to see the feasibility of the system. This research produces a profile information system in Mulyosri Village that can be used and accessed by Mulyosri Village residents. In addition, based on the results of blackbox testing, it shows that the system has been running well and as expected. Thus it can be said that this system is feasible to use.     Problem masyarakat yang terjadi di desa Sidorejo Kecamatan Kenduruan Kabupaten Tuban yakni melimpah akan limbah pertanian. Sumber limbah berasal dari Jerami padi, tanaman jagung, kulit singkong, dan kulit kacang tanah. Salah satu langkah terbaik adalah pengolahan limbah pertanian melalui proses fermentasi dan silase, dengan metode yang berbeda-beda, tergantung pada limbah yang akan diolah, seperti Jerami padi, tanaman jagung, tanaman singkong, kulit kacang tanah yang akan di jelaskan diartikel ini. Secara garis besar limbah pertanian untuk pakan ternak yang diolah dengan cara fermentasi dan silase dapat menambah nafsu makan ternak serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas gizi pakan untuk masa pertumbuhan ternak.     Removal by absorptive ceramic membranes can simultaneously absorb and separate metal ions from water. Alumina/yttria-stabilized zirconia (Al2O3/YSZ) hollow-fiber membranes, fabricated using phase inversion and sintering process, were deposited with iron oxide by an in-situ hydrothermal process. The results showed that α-Fe2O3 was produced and incorporated across the membranes. A reduction in flux was recorded with the deposition of α-Fe2O3. However, it improved the adsorption capacity for heavy metal adsorption. The adsorption-separation test demonstrated that the optimized membrane is able to completely remove Pb(II) ions after two hours

    Efficient reduction of graphene oxide nanosheets using Na2C2O4 as a reducing agent

    The efficient synthesis of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosheets via chemical reduction process of exfoliated graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets was performed by introducing sodium oxalate (Na2C2O4) as a reducing agent. To study the effects of the reduction time on the synthesized RGO, the GO was reduced within -1/2, 1 and 2 h for RGO-1, RGO-2 and RGO-3, respectively. The C/O atomic ratio of the synthesized RGO-3 has increased from 2.16 to 6.32 after reduction as determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The morphology analysis of the RGO-3 was determined by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) almost revealed the formation of single layer. The number of RGO layers decreases as the time of the reduction increases. Based on these analysis results, sodium oxalate plays an important role in the efficient removal of the oxygen containing groups in the GO to produce high quality of RGO
